The Foothill Gold is a travel ball organization associated with the Foothill Girls Softball League recreational softball league located in the foothills outside of Sacramento, California. The Foothill Gold team offers girls within the Foothill Girls Softball League boundaries a chance to participate in ASA & NSA travel softball. You must attend a tryout and be asked to join the team. Travel softball consists of playing in both out of town and local NSA & ASA tournaments, participating in fund raising activities, and costs more per player to participate than the FGSL recreational league. The Foothill Gold site is set up to keep team members, parents, fans and visitors up-to-date with the latest information.
